And just like that… my big brother got engaged!
It was like it was yesterday, my girl clan and me chilling in a Chili’s booth, telling Cass she should give Ryan a chance. As a single mom of one little dude, plus a foster mom of two pre-teens, she was looking for somebody reliable, trustworthy, and constant -- and it was gonna be hard for her to let someone in. But the unfolding of their love story has been a beautiful and redemptive one. One of ups and downs, highs and lows, and every growing pain in between, but it has been such a glorious reminder that God brings beauty out of ashes. In spite of past scars, deep heartaches, and lots of lonely seasons wondering “Will I ever find ‘the one’?” He has brought you two together in a way that only He can do, and I’m so excited to watch your love story flourish.
