Modern, Elegant Wedding at The Monroe on 415th in Nashville, Tennessee || Nicole and Truett

Beautiful couple posing together infront of wood doors to their wedding venue.

Nicole and Truett reached out to me with their vision for a modern, elegant wedding at THE MONROE ON 415TH in Nashville, Tennessee, and from the moment the words came out of their mouths, I was ready to pack my bags!

I immediately hit it off with Nicole and Truett on our phone call, and I knew that their faith-filled wedding was going to be right up my alley! We shared so many mutual passions, including faith, family, coffee shops, and a love of storytelling, all of which they were planning to weave into their special day in their own unique way. I was all about this idea, and fell even more in love with their style and connection during their Charming Engagement Session in Historic Franklin, Tennessee 😍

The magic of their wedding day was kicked off by Nicole and Truett’s first look, and let me tell ya, it set the tone for MAGICAL AND EMOTIONAL day.

It was intimate, private, and so special to them, and I love that they also gave gifts to each other. We tapped into alllll the feels during their first look, and I was a basket case by the end of their pictures. 👀 They were so smitten to finally have made it here, to their wedding day, and to finally join their lives together as husband and wife!

Nicole and Truett’s electric personalities made them such a joy to be around, and this was especially true throughout their wedding day! Their positivity was infectious, making friends and vendors alike simply thrilled to be a part of their celebration! They were super keen on building their wedding around faith and community, and their guest list was literally teeming with people who were genuinely there to celebrate them… you could feel the love in the room!

A unique touch of this was Truett’s father, WHO IS a pastor AND married them, which felt especially meaningful to me BECAUSE Truett is also studying to become a pastor! 😭

Their vows were such a beautiful testament to the gospel and Christ’s love of the church, and watching them worship with 200 of their closest friends and family members was simply beautiful. They incorporated so many beautiful Christian elements into their ceremony including prayer, worship, and a gospel message, and I had goose bumps from beginning to end!

Next to their ceremony, one thing I loved about Nicole and Truett’s modern wedding was their “coffee hour” – a.k.a. cocktail hour with a twist! Instead of doing the traditional cocktail hour, Nicole and Truett decided to bring in a coffee cart and barista to give everyone a boost of energy for the fun that was about to be had on the dance floor. And the perfect compliment? Dessert was served, too 🤤 Nicole and Truett brought in the most INCREDIBLE ice cream sandwich cart with flavor pairings out of this world! The couple truly customized their day to THEM, which I thought was just the sweetest touch!

So many elements of their day were truly breathtaking, and their venue, The Monroe on 415th, was no exception. Monroe is a stunning, newly built venue designed by husband and wife duo, the Morgans. Glowing with a modern and elegant design, the venue was built on 95-acres of land with both indoor and outdoor wedding spaces. This versatility gives their couples the option of choosing where and how to celebrate their day, indoor or outdoor, which is so crucial! The venue also comes fully equipped with a bridal suite with four vanity stations, a floor-to-ceiling vintage mirror, and boutique furniture that perfectly fits the sophisticated, yet chic vibe. The groom's suite, found at the opposite end of the venue, also has a clean yet modern aesthetic with a large screen TV and outdoor patio area. Both suites were fully stocked with a mini fridge and coffee bar, which I may or may not have taken advantage of. #sevenmonthspregnant 👀😜

Monroe, painted in white from floor to ceiling, is truly the most stunning, minimalistic canvas in which you can execute any dream wedding vision.

It has touches of gold highlighted in the light fixtures, natural wooden doors at the entryway of the venue, as well as black trim throughout the entirety of the venue, giving it a tasteful touch of elegance throughout the entire building! Nicole and Truett truly made the perfect decision when they chose this venue for their day. They simply could show up and enjoy the beauty of an already STUNNING venue on their day, no DIYing necessary (a.k.a. low stress! 🙌)

I’d be remised if I didn’t get a special shoutout to their wedding planner, Maggie, who is the owner of Ad Astra Events. She curated such an amazing experience for Nicole and Truett! She ran a well-oiled operation day-of, but still made sure Nicole and Truett were able to slow down and enjoy their wedding. She had the timeline down to a T and kept every single aspect of their wedding running smoothly!

Another brilliant “vendor” that Nicole landed on? Her team of “videographers” a.k.a. her social media colleagues from Dave Ramsey Solutions (Above)!!

Instead of hiring an official videographer for her and Truett’s wedding day, she had the brilliant idea to engage her team of work friends to capture her wedding from the unique vantage point of friendship. I literally couldn’t have loved this idea anymore. I CANNOT WAIT to see these videos come to life! 😍

To make their day even more special, Nicole (who is a singer-songwriter and an AMAZING artist!) pre-recorded a song for Truett during their reception, and it was SOO SWEET!

The whole room lit up and joined them on their dance floor for such a special moment. At the end of their reception, they cleared the room to share one last dance - an intentional moment to savor the final moments of their wedding! All guests cleared the venue space while they shared a private dance to commemorate their day. Literally love this idea. When the dance finished, they walked out to their grand exit, a BUBBLE exit, which was such a fun ending to their wedding!

Nicole and Truett truly planned the most modern, elegant wedding at the Monroe on 415th, and I’m so thankful I was able to get a part of it. They continued their marriage celebration by honeymooning in Colorado Springs together (another one of my favorite places!), and I love that they are now FRIENDS! This couple has my heart, and I will always be rooting them on in this wild, wonderful journey called marriage! 😊
